This life changing catastrophic injury affects millions worldwide and every year, more than 10,000 people in the U.S. become paralyzed. An SCI changes a person’s life in an instant, the physical, emotional and financial strains can be devastating and it affects the whole family. Anyone can get this injury at anytime. Car accidents, swimming, sports, work related accidents, slip and falls, pretty much anything, even waking up and getting out of bed can cause a SCI. Don’t take what you have in life for granted, it can all be taken in a blink of an eye. Live the life you love and love the life you live.
